Hello
Well my exams are finished woo (Its so nice to just sit on a couch and not feel guilty that my heads not in a book.)
Now my school won't stop bugging us about researching universities to go to...argh it never stops. I have to go to some Dentistry conference on Monday so at least i miss a day of school

My brother got the final results of his degree yesterday coming out with a 2,1 in Physics and computing so i was very proud!

I bought keane's and The Feeling's new albums and they are awesome, i can't stop listening to them!!!

[info]stonedregrets made me the coolest House Pimps colourbar for my user info in honour of the House pimp photo's i had collected which made me SO HAPPY lol! So thanks for that.

Although my school has forced us to come back after our exams so i still have a month and a bit left of it.

Oh GOD i remember that pressure. I take it you've done your year 12 exams??? But I hate to tell you that bugging about Uni's is going to get worse *shivers* and filling in that UCAS form and going through that massive UCAS book trying to narrow down courses and Unis...

But anyway. Who-hoo you've finiashed your exams.

Also is the new Feeling album there second album? Becasue I've only just heard of them and I was thinking of buying there album that's recently being advertised. A friend says they sound kind of like ELO.

Oh god, sounds horrible and my school gets really into all of this stuff. I have already been given booklets on how to right a perfect personal statement and now i have to apply for some test called the Uk CAT. I'm not sure what is, i think its a new thing.
Yep and me and that "massive UCAS book" have already met eachother but we don't get along lol.

well the first year was kind of dull I couldn't really get interested into all the modules. one or two were ok. But I'm hoping that year two will be better as I get to choose four modules out of the ten.

thats cool. i always used to enjoy studying history, it was one of the only subjects i was genuinly interested in and enjoyed to study. Sadly my hand was just not up to the task of writing such long essays heehee
How have you found uni life differnt to being at home? was it scary when you first went?

yes it was scary for me, because I'm kind of a loner and so making friends with people is a long process with me. I kind of stay quite in group conversations until I really get to know people better.

I also made the mistake of most of the first term of not going out much or really talking to other people on the course, but thankfully for one of the moduels we had to be in groups so before i left for christmas break i'd made friends with the girls i was in the group with and when i came back i enjoyed uni a whole lot more. The social side for me has really been brilliant, also since i kind of live in a village go out to the local pub and play pool with friends, which is really how i love spending a night out with friends. So i thought I'd hate going out to clubs and stuff, but thankfully there's jumping jacks who play cheesey tunes and decent music. And that's been great fun. But I'd pick the local pub and game of pool any day. lol

But I coped being away from home better than i thought I would. But Lincoln is a great city because it's not massive like Manchester and the whole campus is so close so it kind of feels nice and cozy.

Thats great! I, like you want to be somewhere small in a campus. I don't want to be somewhere loud and crazy.

that was really helpful for me because although i'm loud and crazy in my friendship group i can be shy when i meet new people, so i'll try and talk to people and make friends quickly when i go there.

But I'd pick the local pub and game of pool any day.

isn´t just nice when everything is finished!!!

I would be almost in the same situation if my University wasn´t currently taken for some people (insert really awful words instead of people). Its been 2 weeks without classes now :( and just when i was finishing the semester!
